At Bethany we want to encourage women, nurture community, and strengthen faith.
Water to Thrive brings the gift of safe, clean water to those in need in Africa. Water to Thrive started with 12 wells back in 2009 helping to bring clean water to Ethiopia. In 10 years, over 950 wells and serving over 500,000 people in many communities.
Thanks to all who baked the yummy goodies and the generosity of our congregation, the Valentine’s Bake Sale was a great success. Everything was sold and we raised $2,009! The bake sale proceeds combined with a Marketplace grant from Bethany Women in Mission will fully fund the 7th water well. Thanks be to God!!!
What has been done by Bethany recently?
6th well funded by generous Christmas gifts of $5,000 and will be built this year.
