Thanksgiving Dinner with Our Neighbors
Tuesday, November 19 from 6:00-8:30pm
Bethany Lutheran is hosting Thanksgiving dinner for the residents of Homestead Apartments, a Foundation Communities complex just down the road from us. We are expecting over 80 residents for dinner and games/crafts. This is a great opportunity for the entire family to get involved and have fun. We need your help by preparing the meal, serving dinner, eating with residents, and helping with crafts.

Nov. 20: 5-7pm; Nov. 21: 10am-2pm and 4-6pm

Nov. 24: 1-5pm; Nov. 25: 8am-12noon
We tend to spend a lot of time and focus on the things that we lack and yet the Bible encourages us to practice gratitude. We know from research that gratitude helps with reduced stress, brings better sleep, and increases motivation and energy. It has so many benefits but it is hard to cultivate. Together lets see examples of gratitude in the Bible but also talk about ways we might cultivate gratitude in our lives and in the lives of our families.
Bethany’s Family Thanksgiving dinner will be held on Sunday, November 24 at 5:30pm in the Community Life Center. For those of you who are new to Bethany, we hope you will join us for this special meal and fellowship. Please bring a covered dish, salad, or dessert. Want to help? Contact the church office if you would like to bring Turkey, cooked/sliced with gravy; mashed potatoes; or dressing.
