(Seasoned Christians Are Terrific)

If you are 60 years young, or if you are retired, and enjoy getting out together with friends during the day for Bingo and dominoes.  Our activities are usually in the daytime (from 1-4pm) on the first Tuesday (BINGO) and the second Tuesday (dominoes).  You can also join the group for Pinochle on 1st, 3rd and 5th Fridays in the Worship Center Lobby.

Lifetree Café
Wednesday Mornings at 9:30am in the lobby

Lifetree Café is a comfortable place and time to gather weekly to explore life and faith. Join us on Wednesdays at 9:30am in the Worship Center Lobby.  We have coffee, snacks, and conversation. There are new topics every week. Visit lifetreecafe.com for previews of each week.

This is an informal gathering of families with young children: a chance to enjoy each other’s contributions to a potluck meal (meat provided by Bethany), supervised gym time for the kids who are old enough, and a great chance for parents to share stories, ideas, and just life in general.  Additionally, we are now inviting the families to come early, 5:30, to work with their kids on a service project, partly as a way to introduce children to the idea of benefiting others.  This activity is called LIFT (Life. Families. Together). Questions? Contact Mark Boerger.

Collecting Non-Perishable Food

We collect non-perishable food, such as cereal, tuna, peanut butter, and others, for the Abiding Love Lutheran Church pantry.  Abiding Love distributes food to over 80 people on a weekly basis.  The bins are in the lobby.  Help fill the needs of the community.

Help with Altar Guild Duties

Do you have some spare time to help? We are looking for volunteers to help with the communion setup and altar guild duties.  Questions? Please contact church office if you are interested in helping now or in the future.

Operation Christmas Child – Christmas in July

It’s time for Christmas in July once again. Come by our table and pick up a shoebox and a list of suggested items that you could pack in your shoebox gift.  It is time to search for just the right items that you want to bless a child with. Last year 11 million children received a shoebox gift!  Let’s do it again.  Operation Christmas Child is a project of Samaritan’s Purse.  Any questions?  See Dianne Hodges for details (cdhodges08@austin.rr.com or 512-351-1767).
