Theatre Interest Group on the Third Thursday Night from 7:30-9:30pm in the Youth Room

Let's come together to humbly explore the intersection of the performing arts and the Christian worldview. Our meetings will include group play readings with prayerful and relevant discussions, and could also include acting exercises and other theatre activities, depending on the interests of the group. This is a new group, open to ages 18-100. All skill levels welcome. The content of some plays we are reading may be 'PG-13' level, but will be approached prayerfully and through a Biblical lens, with the aim of gaining a 'Christianly' understanding of the world of the performing arts.

Operation Christmas Child Shoe boxes

Shoebox time for little ones and older children! We are introducing “Theme Gifts” for children in the 10 to 14 year old age group.  Themes: “Cooking” or “Sewing” for girls; and “Tools” or “Fishing” for boys. This is a new and exciting approach to packing gifts for the boys and girls in the 10 – 14 year old category.  Stop by the table in the Worship Center Lobby and learn more when you pick up your brochures, list of ideas and a box.  You can return them to the table by November 5.

Collecting Non-Perishable Food

We collect non-perishable food, such as cereal, tuna, peanut butter, and others, for the Abiding Love Lutheran Church pantry.  Abiding Love distributes food to over 80 people on a weekly basis.  The bins are in the lobby.  Help fill the needs of the community.
